I am an Assistant Professor at MBZUAI.

I study artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare.

I did my Ph.D. in the Department of Computing, Imperial College London, UK, and post-doctoral training in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

My current research interests include medical foundation models, agents, and human-AI interactions. Some of my work has been published in NEJM AI, Nature Machine Intelligence, and The Lancet Digital Health.
